The Swiss Cooperation Office Gaza and West Bank, and the Palestinian Authority inaugurated the project of Development Construction of Aqaba Reservoir located in Area C. The project scope consists of construction of 250 cubic meter of elevated water reservoir including all the needed fittings and accessories.

The Swiss Cooperation Office Gaza and West Bank provided € 182,132 for the construction and. This project will provide adequate and safe water for people. The contribution was channelled through the SDC Area C Development Programme in the West Bank.

The inauguration was attended by the Minister of Local Government, the Deputy Tubas Governorate Governor, the SDC Representative, the Director General of the Municipal Lending and Development Fund and representatives of the local community and nearby villages.
